I was honored enough to have a text of mine and my supervisor included in the publication “About Brand Greece” of the Secretariat General of Information and Communication, which was just released and distributed globally. The text, entitled “The new, post-Olympic Athens”, is an outcome of the research study ‘Athens 2004 Olympic Games Global Impact’, which is performed by NTUA during the last 2 1/2 years under the guidance of the International Olympic Committee.

I am also more than honored to travel with the former Executive Director and Chief Technical Officer of the Athens 2004 Organizing Committee Yannis Purgiotis and the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Hellenic Olympic Propoerties S.A. Christos Hadjiemmanuil to Guatemala to present the Athens case to the 119th IOC session.
